It all started with a cup of coffee.

Our journey started in 2020, at the peak of covid. A good cup of coffee inspired us to make a great cup of coffee.

We have never been the type to settle so we wanted to bring the Illinois Valley and every coffee lover the same inspiration we received from a cup of coffee.

The first 2-3 years we had a lot of obstacles and dead ends but we stayed persistent. We studied and educated ourselves in green coffee and roasting.

Beginning of 2021 we bought a little coffee roaster which was a popcorn machine. Late 2021 we purchased a sample coffee roaster.

In early 2022 we found one of the best coffee gurus and learned as much as we could from him. Months later we ordered a Diedrich 12kg roaster. Late 2022 an opportunity popped up with the Spring Valley Bakery and we knew with the vision we had with coffee we HAD to jump on it. So we did, we bought it January 1st 2023. Days later our roaster finally came in. No chance to even look at it for months. Let alone roast on it. Late 2023 we finally finished our roasting room. 2024 finally have time to season our drum and start roasting some coffee.

In 2024 after a year of focusing on the bakery we were finally able to re-direct our focus back on coffee. February 2024 our first official batches get roasted. February 11th to be exact.

Which leads us here. As we continue to grow we will continuously keep raising the bar to exceed our own expectations. Along the way we hope to not only educate ourselves more but also educate

We are more than happy with the coffee we are roasting but we feel this is only the beginning of our destiny.
